We give fair warning that strange usernames with equally strange email addresses are not likely to make it through our signon process and are very likely to be banned from any access to this site at all which includes the free access you can already see before you attempt to register an account here.

When you apply to be a member here ,

To be a member you go to the ' create new account ' link right below the login in the left sidebar

, your request is sent to an administrator, and you are sent the first of two emails which contains a one time only login url , but you cannot use it untill you receive the email saying your account has been approved. While the procedure is , err, cumbersome , we ask for your patience in this sign up ; it is needed.

There are Four types of membership here -
