Why a GID Journal?

I was in Paris, for the XVth World Congress of Sexology, from WAS, in
2001.
As always, Paris was very beautiful.
The congress was full of experts ....more than 3 thousand for all
continents.
But I saw a lot of people there, from all nations, countries and languages,
almost knew nothing about GID’s.
All medical doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, sexologists....MS’s or
PhD’s.... but no real knowledge about GID’s.
Then, from August 2001 on I started Gendercare Gender Clinic, and from
2002 on GIGS, the Gendercare effort to spread knowledge about GID’s to
health care professionals thru the Web.
But surely that was not enough....there is a big gap between the GID’s
necessities and the GID’s care provision, by the professionals, the
governments, and even the specific international agencies and associations.
So, we are continuing our effort to spread a little bit more knowledge about
GID’s and GID’s care. About who are the GID’s, and why they are who
they are. The F64.0 in ICD-10 classification, the so called transsexuals....
Also the crossdressers classified as F64.1, and even the transgenders,
erroneously classified as F.64.8 as GIDNOS,
There is a gap....between the victims necessities, and what today the health
care professionals provide for them..... let’s start trying to narrow that gap,
thru serious GID researching.
The GID health care professionals have one International Association....
HBIGDA.... I am also a member.... And we would like to invite HBIGDA
to help us in that effort.
